My wife was kind enough to let me go out geocaching today, and during the day today (obviously), I had to call my dad for the holiday. We had a nice, long conversation. He's five years out after suffering a stroke, so every time we get to talk is cherished. I never knew my maternal grandfather as he died two years before I was born, and my father's father died in 1972 when I was only five. I don't have many strong memories of him, so my own father is my strongest father figure. I know everyone's mileage may vary when it comes to their own fathers -- there are some good relationships, some bad ones, and some middling ones. I wanted to make sure I honored my own (good) relationship with my dad. Since our phone conversation was near here, and I saw some good potential cache hiding places, I placed one here.
The cache should be an easy find for all. You will need a writing implement, as none is provided. I don't recommend blood as an ink ... too messy. Please replace the cache where you found it. The cache is rated a little higher for difficulty because of the potential for extra stealth needed.
Be stealthy, my friends, and keep on caching!
Congratulations to njphotoguy and lil' looker on FTF!
