Father’s Day weekend 2014……Jeb532 and I decide to finally make the trip to Goat Island after hearing many stories from many different geocachers. Have to admit, this was one of the wildest adventures we have ever undertaken. After finding 8 cache types, almost 30 5.0 terrain caches and much more, I just had to get in on the action and create a geocache. Did the best I could to get accurate coordinates, but my GPSr only had accuracy to within 22 feet. Cache is roughly the size of a bison tube and placed with my feet on the ground.
In the event I cannot perform maintenance on this cache, beta59 and Clubmud! have graciously offered to repair, replace or remove this cache if it gets wet or damaged.
