Andalusia is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm and Sunday 2pm to 4pm Gates are closed all other times. You can not enter except during regular hours. Please park only in the parking area behind the main house, just follow the signs.
The main house has more information about Flannery O'Connor and the farm. There is a fee to enter main house. You are free to explore the property. Dogs are allowed on the grounds if on a leash, but not allowed in any building or structure.. And do not forget to check out the peacock and peahens. Flannery O'Connor loved peacocks and raised them here. The second house on the property is the Hill House an early nineteenth century plantation cottage. Resident farmers Robert "Jack" and Louise Hill lived in the house during the time Miss O'Connor was here. The cache title is one of Miss O'Conners short story titles.
The cache is a 8 x 6 lock-lock box camouflaged for surroundings. Plenty of room for trackables. It is a short easy stroll from the parking area. To find the cache it is NOT necessary to crawl under, open, or lift anything. NO NEED to TOUCH anything but the cache! Please. Should usually be fairly muggle free.
