Geocache Description:

First released in November 1957 “4.50 from Paddington” is one of Agatha Christie’s popular mystery stories with Jane Marple playing detective to solve this mystery. Miss Marple’s friend, Mrs McGillicuddy, is the only witness to a murder that leaves no victim or any evidence. How does Miss Marple solve a mystery that didn’t happen?

Here is another cache in the popular Agatha Christie Series by Mrs SAROC. No mystery to arrive at the coordinates this time around, the cache is right here.

“Mrs. McGillicuddy panted along the platform in the wake of the porter carrying her suitcase. Mrs. McGillicuddy was short and stout, the porter was tall and free-striding. In addition, Mrs. McGillicuddy was burdened with a large quantity of parcels; the result of a day’s Christmas shopping. The race was, therefore, an uneven one, and the porter turned the corner at the end of the platform whilst Mrs. McGillicuddy was still coming up the straight.” So goes the opening paragraph of the Agatha Christie novel “4.50 from Paddington”.

Such was the public interest in Agatha Christie, the author received many letters after publication pointing out that there was no actual train that departed Paddington Station at that time!

Have fun finding the associated cache and log book. There is room for small items of swag. Please re-hide carefully. As always please be careful with muggles observing you hunting out the cache and signing the log.
