This cache is located off Covered Bridge Rd which is off Route 94 in New Milford, NY. You can park on the left after you cross the small bridge. It is located near an art and sculpture park which is open Saturday and Sunday from May through September, but you can find the cache and see some of the artwork year round. Sundays is usually crowded. Weekdays the grounds are closed, so you can’t wander around and enjoy this unusual place, but some things can still be seen from afar. There is also a Geodetic Survey marker within 30 feet of this cache, for those interested in these markers. The cache itself is a metallic brown micro container measuring 1.5 inches long by 3/4 inch across which contains only a log and a very small pencil. It is NOT located on the private property itself, it is on public property along the bridge that crosses the scenic Wawayanda River. This is such a “magnetic” spot I think you will want return with friends to enjoy this place. For the first to find there is a $5 bill to be had so you can get a cup of coffee and a donut at one of the local places in the area, enjoy!
