Check out GC47FRY to see pics from last year's visit to Wet Beaver Creek!!!
CacheQueens will be returning to the 928 on July 12th, 2014 at Beaver Creek Day Use Area. Coords take you to the most desireable spot picnic to congregate. There are non-reservable picnic areas on the right and $6/carload areas on the left when you are driving from the I-17 turn off.
This area is no longer offering camping. If cachers want to camp and make a weekend of it, there are other areas close by for camping.
I will, as always, allow time for set up to strong arm any muggles who try to get in our zone, but no guarantees on picnic area. Help always welcome!
Event starts at 4 p.m. and ends whenever the last cacher pulls of the parking lot
Picnic & BYOB. We won't be able to BBQ due to fire restrictions
There is water close by in Beaver Creek and lots of great caching to be had.
Geo-friends from Phoenix, and the southern parts of Arizona, take a break from the heat as we return an awesome spot that many of us enjoyed last summer!
Message me with any questions or ideas to make this event more fun! FYI There will also be an event somewhere in Prescott on this day & another at Crescent Moon Ranch(Sedona) on Sunday, July 13th. I want to see as many of you as possible this summer!
