Annabelle's Turtle was placed in memory of my guinea pig, Annabelle. She was a surprise piggie when we found out my little girl, Dega, was in fact a male. Oops!
Annabelle loved to pretend she was a turtle. She would move her house around the cage with her like a shell. She would stick her head out to get a drink then go right back in. Spring 2013 I noticed Annabelle wasn't doing very well. I thought she had a UTI and/or bladder stones like her brothers had had. I had an xray taken only to find out she actually had a huge tumor in her belly. Surgery was not an option because of the size of the tumor and her age. I was able to keep her comfortable for about a month after finding out. I had to make a hard decision. On June 25, 2013 I said goodbye to my little girl.
I have wanted to place this cache for several months, but I couldn't find the right spot. Cache is a small lock and lock. Parking is near by.
Please leave the picture of Annabelle in the cache. First to find will have the option to take a travel bug in memory of Annabelle. I have attached a piece of one of her toys to the bug.
RIP Annabelle
