Welcome to the NB Trails 20th Anniversary Geocaching Program!
The New Brunswick Trails Council Inc. is a non-profit, membership/volunteer organization dedicated to the advancement of the trails movement in New Brunswick. Its mandate is to work for the betterment of trails throughout New Brunswick and to help Local Trail Sponsors build, maintain, and promote their local trails.
We have partnered with Cache Up NB to launch this new geocoin challenge program to help get you outdoors, and expose you to the world of geocaching.
For this program, you will be looking for small container which contains a log book, pencil and a code under the lid (for your passport). If you haven’t already, you can download the passport HERE, this way you’ll be able to easily track you progress and submit it to potentially win a limited Geocoin!
From the magnificent gorge in Grand Falls to the westerly side of the river in Perth-Andover, it is the mountains that define the course of the trail and the pace of life. Here the forest is king. Large stands of second growth hardwood tower overhead, giving cover to a thick green carpet of flora that is the forest floor and home to a plethora of animals large and small.
Bienvenue au Programme de Geocaching du 20e anniversaire de Sentiers NB!
Le Conseil sentiers Nouveau-Brunswick Inc. est un organisme bénévole sans but lucratif qui se consacre à la promotion du mouvement en faveur des sentiers au Nouveau-Brunswick. Son mandat consiste à améliorer les sentiers dans l'ensemble du Nouveau-Brunswick et à aider les commanditaires de sentiers communautaires à construire, à entretenir et à promouvoir leurs sentiers locaux.
Nous avons établi un partenariat avec Cache Up NB pour lancer ce nouveau programme afin de vous encourager d'aller à l'extérieur et vous exposer au monde de geocaching.
Pour ce programme, vous serez à la recherche de petit contenant qui contient un journal de bord, un crayon et un code sous le couvercle (pour votre passeport). Si vous ne l'avez pas déjà fait, vous pouvez télécharger le passeport ICI, de cette façon vous serez capable de facilement suivre votre progrès et le soumettre afin de potentiellement gagner un Geocoin d’édition limitée!
De la magnifique gorge de Grand-Sault jusqu’à la rive ouest de la rivière à Perth-Andover, ce sont les montagnes qui définissent le tracé du sentier et le rythme de la vie. Ici règne la forêt! D’énormes peuplements de feuillus de seconde venue dominent le paysage, créant une voûte forestière sous laquelle s’étend un épais tapis de végétation qui abrite une myriade d’animaux petits et grands.
