La cache se trouve sur ce site. Au cœur de la presqu’île de la caravelle à Trinité se nichent ses ruines majestueuses. Site classé Monument Historique depuis 1992.
Un micro musée permet d’en savoir plus sur l’histoire de l’Habitation et de ses occupants. L'accès au Château DuBuc se fait par une piste depuis les hauteurs du village de Tartane. Une visite à faire en la combinant avec une promenade vers le Phare de la Caravelle tout proche ou, pour les bons marcheurs, avec la randonnée du grand tour de la Réserve de la Caravelle, un itinéraire magnifique de 2h30 serpentant entre littoral et forêt sèche.
LE SITE :
Le Château Dubuc se situe tout au bout de la Presqu'île de la Caravelle, en surplomb de la magnifique Baie du Trésor. Il s'agit aujourd'hui de quelques ruines disséminées dans un vaste parc mais l'endroit fut au cours du XVIIIème siècle la propriété de la riche et puissante famille Dubuc. En 1657, Pierre Dubuc fuyant la France suite à un duel , s'installe en Martinique. Il s'illustre rapidement dans la courte guerre qui oppose les indiens Caraïbes aux colons et reçoit en récompense une concession aux environs de la Trinité sur laquelle il cultive la canne à sucre et le tabac... Fort de son succès il rachète dans les années qui suivent les terres environnantes et devient l'un des plus importants propriétaires de la Martinique. C'est à son petit fils, Louis Dubuc du Galion, que l'on doit la construction du Château entre 1720 et 1725. La propriété est habité par la famille pendant près de 70 ans - Une période au cours de laquelle on soupçonne les maitres des lieux, sans toutefois en avoir la preuve, de s'être livrés à la contrebande notamment d'esclaves... Une chose est certaine en revanche, l'isolement de l'extrêmité Est de la Presqu'île était propice au débarquement discret des embarcations... Plusieurs cyclones endommagent la demeure avant que les Anglais ne la pille en février 1794. Le domaine est alors laissé progressivement à l'abandon. C'est en 1974 que le Parc Naturel Régional s'en porte acquéreur et entreprend un long travail de réhabilitation des espaces. Aujourd'hui le Château Dubuc qui abrite un petit musée retraçant la vie de ses propriétaires est le troisième site touristique.
LA CACHE :
Quand vous aurez garé votre voiture dans le parking, le site est à cinq minutes de marche. La cachette de taille moyenne est placée à quelques mètres de l'entrée sur le chemin. Faisiez preuve d'une grande discrétion parce que les endroits sont fréquentés assez à cause de son accebilite.
NOTA : Vu que la cache se trouve à l'extérieur des sites de visite, vous avez le choix de faire la visite ou se contenter seulement de faire la cache.

The hiding place is on this site. At the heart of the peninsula of the caravelle in Trinité nest its majestic ruins. Conservation area Ancient memorial since 1992.
A micro museum allows of to know more about it on the history of the House and its occupants. The access to the Castle DuBuc is made by a track. since the heights of the village of Tartane. A visit to be made by combining It with a walk towards the Lighthouse of the quite close Caravelle. or, for the good walkers, with a hike of the big tour of the Reserve of the Caravel, a magnificent route of 2:30 am winding between coast and forest dries.
THE SITE:
The Ruins of the Castle Dubuc is situated everything at the end of the Peninsula of the Caravelle, in overhang of the magnificent Bay of the Trésor. It is about some ruins spread in a vast park today but the place was during the XVIIIth century the property of the rich and powerful family Dubuc. In 1657, Pierre Dubuc avoiding France further to a duel, settles down in Martinique. He quickly becomes famous in the short war which sets the Carib Indians to the colonists and receives in reward a concession in the neighbor good of the Trinité on which he cultivates the sugar cane and the tobacco... Bulding of his success he acquires in the years which follow the surrounding lands and becomes one of the most important owners of Martinique. It is to his small son, Louis Dubuc du Galion, that we owe the construction of the Castle between 1720 and 1725. The property is inhabited by the family during almost 70 years - A period during which we suspect the hosts, without having however the proof of it, of having been engaged in the contraband in particular of slaves... One thing's for sure on the other hand, the isolation of the extrêmité is from the Peninsula was convenient to the discreet Lansing of boats... Several cyclones damage the house before the English people plunder it in February, 1794. The domain is neglected then gradually. It is in 1974 when the Regional Natural reserve goes buyer and begins a long work of rehabilitation of spaces. Today the Castle Dubuc which shelters a small museum redrawing the life of her owners is the third place of interest.
THE CACHE :
When you will have parked your car in the parking lot, the site is in five minutes of walked.The medium-sized hiding place is placed a few meters away from the entrance on the way. Showed a big discretion because places are enough seen frequently because of his(her,its) accebilite.
NOTED: Given that the hiding place is outside of the sites of visit, you have the choice to pay the visit or content only with making the hiding place.
