Stoney Point Traditional Cache

This cache is located at Stoney Point, one of La Crescent's lesser known hidden gems. Enjoy the view and snap a picture or two as you hunt for this cache!

This cache is located at Stoney Point which is near and accessed from Vetsch Park which also has many other nice caches that are worth stopping for.  Please park at the parking waypoint.  From the parking area to the trailhead you will walk 0.4 miles of wide trails.  Once you reach the trailhead, you will come to a fork.  You will take the trail to the right (this will be the only right fork you will take).  From the trailhead to the cache it is 0.4 miles. Of the 0.4 miles, 0.1 miles of this trail is rather rocky and at a steep incline, so I would recommend that you wear appropriate shoes.  You will come to 4 sets of forks in this trail.  Keep to the left trail at each one of these forks.
