londonwesty: Thank you everyone for a very great event. That was a lot of fun. I was a little worried after posting the event that nobody would come but you made it great. I wish I had saved a bag of the trackables from Edinburgh to bring down to London. Next time. And that will be in Belgium.

Geocache Description:

Meet, greet, exchange stories and travel bugs. This event will run from 8:00-8:15pm on Friday, July 11 near the bench just outside the Albert Pub. This is a chance to get TBs out of the UK and off to the New World via Canada. From one London to another.

On June 21st in London, Ontario the Hopping the Pond meet and greet event (GC519NC) took place. The purpose? Ultimately to collect travelbugs to bring across the Atlantic to the United Kingdom. On Thursday July 3 the Hopping the Pond Canadian Visitors event (GC56TPM) will take place in Edinburgh, Scotland, to distribute those TBs so they can travel the United Kingdom and Europe.

Here, at the Hopping the Pond Off to the New World event you can stop by, say hi, share stories and drop off travel bugs so that they may get a jump start on travel in the new world. This is the third event in a series as part of our vacation to the United Kingdom.

Drop by and drop off a trackable or two or more and we will take them to the other London (London, Ontario, Canada) to start their journey over there on the other side of the pond (the Atlantic).
