Thirty odd years ago I used to teach on the central Eyre Peninsula. Loved the area and loved the people!!!!! It was. however, only a year ago that I discovered two of my ex students were now man and wife, living in Kimba and were the geocaching team known as The MechaniCan!!!
This cache is dedicated to Allan and Naomi. They have plenty of space to place their hides and very little competition from other teams in choosing locations. I had the shared honour (with AussieM&M) of getting a First to Find on their cache "Having a Ball!" GC57OJX. At a recent June Long Weekend Event in Cleve this team won the "Good Samaritan Award" for their helpfulness to other teams! So If you are travelling accross the Eyre Peninsula be sure to leave some time to grab some of their hides!
The cache is a small screw top container containing a logbook with stashnote, pencil, and a few small swaps. AussieM&M, who helped me place this, also dropped in a couple of pathtags!. There is also a FIRST TO FIND Prize for the first team to make the discovery!!!
