Park at the Community Building parking lot. Take the walking trail that begins at the front of the building and goes along the creek and then up hill. Stay on the outer trail. GC is along the trail. After teaching a lesson to our CEOS group, we decided to hide a cache! Our little communtiy of Ireland is a great place to live. The old school house is the meeting place for Lions Club and CEOS. Each year in March the community joins together for a week long celebration for St. Patrick's Day and the arrival of SPRING! Activities include Road Bowling, Pet Show, Square Dancing, Duck Race, Raffle for Signature Quilt, just to mention a few. Our Parade down Rt. 19 to the Community Building is a "must see". Rain or shine, the activities take place with the last event, "hiking to the Blarney Rock" to announce the official arrival of SPRING! The ROCK can be seen on the hillside overlooking Ireland.
