Geocache Description:

This cache is based close to the original GCGF82 from Charlie Brown.

The original text:
The Britannic was designated "His Majesty's Hospital Ship" (HMHS), hospital ship No. G618. She left Liverpool on her maiden voyage on December 23, 1915, bound for Naples, Italy and the port of Mudros on the Greek island of Lemnos. The tiny island of Lemnos had been chosen as a base for attack on the Dardanelles. However, it was later found that this would be a great spot for hospital ships to pick up wounded soldiers. Nearby is a War memorial/Cemetry with the graves of ANZACS and others. We have placed this cache together with the ANZAC travel bug. This area is very peacefull and beautiful.

More information about ANZAC and the cemetery will be inserted later.
Více informací o jednotkách ANZAC, hřbitovu a lodi Brittanic vložím později.
