LCDR Rick "Jester" Heatherly is an instructor at TOPGUN along side Viper. Both he & Viper trained Maverick, Goose, Iceman, Slider, Hollywood, & Wolfman during their time at TOPGUN. Even years later Jester is still around to also train more next generation pilots like Spider, Bishop, Wiseguy, Punchline, Fury, & Playbook.
