Enjoy these caches, which span stage 2 /6 of the Historic Templer Way. A 2 mile stretch of about 50 mins. The Granite tramway is still visible from Haytor to Chapple Road nr Brimley. parking available at either end of the walk, or park in Brimley and do two shorter legs each way. It is all terrain buggy friendly ...but can be busy traffic near no 7 with toddlers. 2 weeks ago, a friend and i walked the Historic Templer way from Haytor to Teignmouth raising money for Cancer Research. It was 18 3/4 miles and it took 9 hrs 30, raising £230. We had a fabulous time. These caches are to remind me of my day! We had fun walking and caching all the way. There are many caches up near Haytor where the granite quarries were and the tramway begins, in Stover park, through Teigngrace and along the Stover canal where the granite was transported to Teignmouth, and finally along the Teign estuary. However, when we did it, there were no caches in stage 2 of the walk. These are for stage 2!
