El Conservatorio de Música "Jesús Guridi" se encuentra en Vitoria-Gasteiz, capital de la Comunidad Autónoma del País Vasco.
Con una población de 220.000 habitantes, la ciudad es modelo de desarrollo urbanístico, integrando en armonía su pasado histórico con el futuro, configurando de esta forma numerosos recursos. Se caracteriza por poseer un gran dinamismo cultural y un especial interés en ofrecer las más variadas propuestas artísticas. La ciudad cuenta con una amplia red de museos y una completa programación de eventos culturales durante todo el año, organizados desde las instituciones públicas y la iniciativa privada. Actualmente el Conservatorio de Música "Jesús Guridi" ocupa un lugar relevante en la vida cultural de la ciudad.
Historia
La historia musical del conservatorio se remonta a 1928, cuando el Ayuntamiento de Vitoria funda el Conservatorio Municipal de Música, ubicado en el Casco Viejo. Es en el año de 1935 cuando se recibe de la dirección general de Bellas Artes la oficialidad de las enseñanzas elementales del Conservatorio. Pero ha sido en el transcurso de los últimos años cuando se han producido las grandes transformaciones.
En 1980 el Consorcio del Conservatorio de Música, con un criterio definido de los pasos que debía desarrollar para la creación de un Centro de Enseñanza Musical, con valía y capacidad, sitúa al frente del mismo a una personalidad perfectamente identificada con este espíritu: Carmelo A. Bernaola. De acuerdo con sus indicaciones, el Consorcio inicia los trámites para la construcción de un nuevo edificio, finalizándose la construcción en 1984. Otro acontecimiento clave fue la concesión del Grado Superior en 1990. En 1996 cambia su denominación de "Escuela Superior de Música" por "Conservatorio Superior de Música".
El resultado del trabajo desarrollado en el Conservatorio, bajo el impulso de los últimos años, se está viendo reconocido a través de la participación constante de profesores y alumnos en la vida musical española. Como reconocimiento esta labor realizada le fue concedida, por el Ministerio de Cultura, la medalla de Plata al Mérito en las Bellas Artes.
El caché

Quitad los tapones del cache para poder acceder al libro de registro.
Para cerrarlo, volved a colocar los tapones del cache, dejadlo en el contenedor y colocad la tapa del contenedor apretando ligeramente y girando la tapa ese octavo de vuelta.

History
The musical history of the conservatory goes back to 1928, when the City Council of Vitoria founds the Municipal Conservatory of Music, located in the Old Town. It is in the year of 1935 that the official of the elementary teachings of the Conservatory is received from the general direction of Fine Arts. But it has been in the course of recent years that the great transformations have taken place.
In 1980 the Consortium of the Conservatory of Music, with a defined criteria of the steps that had to develop for the creation of a Center of Music Teaching, with value and capacity, places at the head of the same to a personality perfectly identified with this spirit: Carmelo A Bernaola. According to its indications, the Consortium began the process for the construction of a new building, finishing the construction in 1984. Another key event was the award of the Higher Degree in 1990. In 1996 it changed its name from "Escuela Superior de Música" "Conservatory of Music".
The result of the work carried out in the Conservatory, under the impulse of the last years, is being recognized through the constant participation of teachers and students in Spanish musical life. In recognition of this work was granted by the Ministry of Culture, the Silver medal to the Merit in Fine Arts.
