Welcome to the Discovery Loop Area!
Long considered to be the heart of North Bonneville, this quaint park area is the hub of North Bonneville's sprawling trail system. With over 12 miles of trails flowing throughout the community and surrounding areas, there are dozens of options to choose from for exploration including the route for this Geotour!
Features of the Discovery loop
Meet the Bigfoot Family! It is my pleasure to introduce you to the first family of Sasquatch to make themselves known to humans. Migrating in from their old forest homes in the Cascades are Momma and Papafoot along with their two Littlefoot children. And of course, how could one forget their adorable new one... Babyfoot. Feel free to take pics with them as they are eager to make friends with vistors!
The Discovery Loop Path... The Discovery Loop is a ¼ mile path marked with white footprints that follows the perimeter of the park and serves as the hub point to miles of trails that snake out through the community and beyond. It is one of these trails that you will be following today on your Bigfoot search!
The Littlefeet in the Park... Following the white footprints of the Discovery Loop path will take you passed many other Littlefeet who are out and about! See how many you can find! The cache here is hidden near one of them playing in the rocks. Good luck and happy searching!
Hamilton creek Trail Access... One of the off shooting trails from the Discovery Loop is the Hamilton Creek Discovery Trail. Marked by blue footprints, this route will lead you to more of the Bigfoots hiding out on this tour!
