'Northampton by boat' is a series of caches placed along the River Nene between the town centre and Brackmills. None of the caches are accessible by foot. You will need a boat or the willingness to swim!
The safety bit...
You are advised to ensure that you have access to, and experience of using, equipment appropriate to the task. A buoyancy aid is a must. You cache at your own risk!
The Wherigo bit...
In order to find this cache you'll first need to complete my little Wherigo
Apps are available for most modern smart phones and some older Garmins can also play Wherigo cartridges

It's been tested on Android, iPhone and Garmin (thanks to some assistance from bingbonglong for the last two!)
Do I need to bring a pen?
Yes. Some of the caches haven’t got pens/pencils in them. Please bring a biro with you. A pencil will not be suitable as some of the logbooks are made from water-proof paper.
Where do I park?
The caches are placed along the Nene in the area shown in the map above. There is parking available along the route, three areas of 'free parking' have been identified in the additional waypoints (you are responsible for ensuring you park within accordance of any local conditions that may be in force).
