Geocache Description:

Geocaching relies on accurate co-ordinates of latitude and longitude. The R61 between Cradock and Nieu Bethesda more or less follows the 32 South line of latitude and crosses it a number of times.

We thought it would be fun to place a series of caches on or as close to this imaginary line as possible so there will be twelve caches mostly along or near the R61 but some are on the N6, the N9 and the N10. This takes us to the limit of our caching area of maintenance so maybe other geocachers will place caches along this S32 line of latitude near to their homes. This cache is placed along a gravel road reached from the R67 linking Queeenstown with Whitttlesea.  At the time of placing the cache the gravel road was well maintained and suitable for a sedan car.  The cache is placed within the road reserve and should be obvious when you see it.

Once you have found this cache you may wish to continue on and find another in the 32 Degrees South cache series which is located on a gravel road that brances off to the north. This branch road will eventually take you back to the R61 linking Queenstown with Tarkastad.  It is a pleasant circular drive through typical Karroo landscape.
