Cache or Czech?
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This cache is easily accessible. You don't even have to get out of your car if you wish not to.
Note 9/1/2013: I created this cache over 11 years ago! Wow, it has seen a lot of activity and has had many visitors from all over the world! Makes me smile that others enjoy finding it. A little history lesson on why this virtual is called "Cache or Czech": Back in 2002 when I created this cache, debit and credit cards had just started becoming common methods of paying for one's groceries and other purchases. Prior to this, most sales transactions were done with either a personal check, or cash, and the check out clerk would often ask "Cash or check?" so that they could punch a certain button on their registers to ready themselves for the transaction. Hence, the name "Cache or Czech?" It was a play on words that was still relevant (barely) at the time. I'm assuming that most people under the age of 30 will not get this, and I see that some people are literally trying to answer the question "Cache or Czech?" It's not meant to be answered - just enjoyed :) Maybe the cache itself will one day reach some sort of historical relevance - even if its just within the geocaching community :)
