No quick fix in sight for Mewburn Road bridge, Mewburn Road is closed to traffic because the CN bridge there is considered unsafe. The city and CN have been in ongoing talks about cost-sharing to replace the bridge. Both sides are at odds because of the type of bridge to build. it has been closed since 2009., CN is responsible for the cost of rebuilding the bridge. But CN only wants to replace it like it is now, whereas the city wants a wider bridge, with bike lanes
