This hike begins at the trail head located up the road a bit on Parish Hill (Conklin Gully). After driving up to the parking lot (located up a gravel road that juts off Parish road - you'll see yellow gate up the gravel road and parking lot is just to the left of that). Head up the trail and take the blue trail (to the right). You'll eventually come to a corner marker that will take you down to the water. You'll cross two creeks. After crossing the 2nd one, you'll need to take the blue trail up to the left. This is where the moderate part begins. When you get to the top of the loooong, gradual hill, you will find a lean-to with 3 paths. Take the path down the middle (looks like it's the most used by cars). Eventually, you'll come to a cross trail...from there, follow your GPS device and look for our cache.
It's a small container (about the size of a sandwich container), covered in camo tape. We've placed some kid-friendly toys in there as well as a log book (with pencil attached). Feel free to login and take something...but if you do, please leave something for others to find as well! Permission to place the cache in High Tor was granted by the DEC for placement in the WMA.
