One of the most enjoyable things to do in Cairo is to leave the hustle & bustle of the city and take a Felukka (sailboat) ride. It's simply amazing as you depart the shore, immediately you are away from the excessive noise, car honking and so forth of the city.
Enjoy the birds on the shores, a fresh breeze -even if the day is hot- and take some pizza or other take out food and enjoy a nice sunset ride on the beautiful river.
You can see kingfisher birds, some fishermen (living on their boats actually) trying to get a catch and other things.
This cache will take you to the 'porch' of one of the felukka captains that we've taken rides with for many years. He understands the idea of the cache and will make sure it won't get ripped like so many caches in Cairo. Pls make sure to take a ride once you found the cache. You can negotiate the price beforehand.
