The long abandoned Red Dykes Farm offers stunning views over Withens Clough Reservoir. This cache is a little off the beaten track but is quite easily accessible from off the Calderdale Way. Be warned however that there is a padlocked gate if you're taking the short way, though walking counter-clockwise around the perimeter wall will lead you to the main entrance.
It should also be noted that this is a dangerous building, explore at your own risk, and as such the cache has been placed slightly away from the main building.
This is our first cache and is named after our rather crazy Labrador whose feet smell oddly like popcorn, he is also usually soaked by this point of the walk. The cache is a small tupperware container with pencil, logbook, sharpener (please leave with pencil), and a couple of toys to begin trading. We hope you enjoy.
