"When Tsuen Wan falls in love with Chai Wan"(當荃灣愛上柴灣) is a classic unplugged Cantopop in 1999. Originally, this was just a demo song by Eric Kwok with the lyrics from Chan Siu Kei(陳少琪) and later its rewritten copy "Beethoven and I" (貝多芬與我) with the lyrics by Wyman Wong was released in the album "Tian You Ai Ren"(天佑愛人) of Eason Chan.

"When Tsuen Wan falls in love with Chai Wan"(當荃灣愛上柴灣) is a classic unplugged Cantopop in 1999. Originally, this was just a demo song by Eric Kwok with the lyrics from Chan Siu Kei(陳少琪) and later its rewritten copy "Beethoven and I" (貝多芬與我) with the lyrics by Wyman Wong was released in the album "Tian You Ai Ren"(天佑愛人) of Eason Chan. Since the lyrics of the demo version is so touching and aligned with our daily life, its fame grew and became even more popular than "Beethoven and I", aka its plugged copy. "When Tsuen Wan falls in love with Chai Wan" was renamed as "Fogg" and included in album "Eric Kwok Collection" 2004.

This story is about a man lived in Tsuen Wan falling in love with a girl lived in Chai Wan. As Tsuen Wan and Chai Wan were two ends with the longest distance of the MTR system at that time, everyday the hero spent hours to send his girlfriend home then returned with a tired body and huge fare. This painful lyrics caught the eyeball of audience with similar experience and then brought this song the fame even it was not plugged in the mass media.

The cache is nowhere from Tsuen Wan or Chai Wan. Anywhere there is a route to Tsuen Wan Chai Wan Kok (Chinese: 荃灣柴灣角), maybe this is the place that the couple should settle in order to ease their pain. Tsuen Wan Chai Wan Kok is an area in Tsuen Wan of Hong Kong. It is located at the west end of Tsuen Wan Town. While its southeast is industrial area, its hilly northeast and coastal southwest are residential. It is on the main access between Tuen Mun and Tsuen Wan.
