Thanks to bsbinder, this cache is active again! Coordinates may be 20 ft off or so.
Located on Calvert Cliff State Park's Orange trail, this is a fairly easy cache when you get to GZ.
The park costs 5$ per car to enter and there is a map that can be found here http://www.dnr.state.md.us/publiclands/pdfs/calvertcliffs_map.pdf
Once you enter the park and park your car, you must walk across a foot bridge and enter the red path, once you hit the service road you go left up a hill. It is pretty straight forward from there if you follow the posts. Make sure you bring lots of bug spray because there are bugs a plenty!
On this trail there are two very steep hills. After the first hill, turn on your GPS. The cache is located just a few feet off the path under some logs and branches. There is a pen included as well as some random trinkets.
Calvert Cliffs is one of my dog's favorite places to go on a walk, which is why we named this cache after her. If you take your pup with you on this adventure, make sure to log their name too!
This park is only open from dawn until dusk, so no night-caching! During hunting season, hunting IS allowed on the orange trail, so you may want to make sure you and your pup have brightly colored garb. I personally have not encountered any hunters, but better safe than sorry.
Congratulations to unusualsuspect for getting the FTF within the same day of uploading! Rock and roll!!! Apparently there is free parking at the Hunter's Parking lot. (See the log SeeKPeeKRs provided - N 38° 24.106 W 076° 26.199). I have never used it, however.
