A popular and attractive walk for non-serious walkers, the unusual granite tor on the summit provides excellent rock climbing, it is this crowning mass of bare granite, 100 feet high, from which it is sometimes called the White Stone Hill. This was one of my first hill walk when I started, went from here into Glen Dye a great walk http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/aberdeenshire/clachnaben.shtml
A small click and click box with logbook adopted from Stumsg.
