Pull up a hay bale and sit a spell! Come over to Vancouver, cache a bit, and join other local geocachers for a nice afternoon in the yard for food, beverages, and fun. Bring a camp chair and a snack to share. There will be water and pop provided, raffle prizes, and my juggling friends have kindly said that they will make an appearance. This is a rain or shine event, there will be overhead cover for both extremes of weather (rain/sun). As weather permits, there will be some outdoor games.
It was suggested to me that since it is a summer bash there should be a pie contest. So, if you like, bring a pie, homemade or not, and those who attend can decide which one gets the blue ribbon!
In case you have not cached in this area, below is a link to a bookmark of some of the close-by geocaches that I think are extra fun, feel free to send me GCs of ones you like here, too, and I will add them. Also, if you choose to cache before/after the event, feel free to email me (through geocaching.com) if you need some phone-a-friend help... I will try to watch my emails. Note that the difficulty/terrain ratings on a few of these are high, so make your choices according to what you feel comfortable with.
After you log a "will attend," I suggest you put this event on your watchlist for any updates.
