This is one of two caches that overlook the entrance to Gull Pond, Noel’s Pond, Stephenville, and beyond. Each is located on either side of the rock cut just East of Gull Pond.
This particular cache should not be a hard find once you reach the location since the container’s hiding spot should be pretty obvious. In this case, it is the journey, not the destination that will provide the difficulty for this find. It is located at the top of one of the hills to the South of Route 460. Get ready to do some bushwacking - there are no paths to this cache and the walk is all uphill and parts of it are through some thick woods, so be ready to put in a little sweat (don’t worry though – our five year old made it). Once you reach the top, be sure to take advantage of the beautiful view before grabbing the cache and heading back down.
The cache itself is a small lock and lock container that contained, when first hidden, the standard tradable trinkets and a unique first to find prize. Hope you enjoy this location as much as we did. Happy hunting!
Congratulations to Salmon Slayer 1 for yet another FTF! Hope you enjoy the keychain!
