I wanted to start a series to provide recognition for a specific set of folks. Although there are many people deserving of being recognized, I wanted to do so for a group that has previously been overlooked. These are NOT tribute caches (whatever they are). These are Attaboy and Attagirl caches for Randolph County Geocachers surpassing the goal of 5,000 caches AND/OR for providing extraordinary adventures for geocachers. Each cache provides an affirmation that the geocacher has passed some milestone deserving of some recognition. I've been threatening to post this series for a while and NOW is the time.
This cache recognizes a High Point cacher who moved to Randolph County for business, Scarlett.nc. Scarlett and her caching partner and mate, Rhettbutler2, were the first geocachers associated with Randolph County to break the 5,000 cache mark. They got 4,000 - 8,000 in one year. This pair has already added some great caches in the Asheboro area. They are known for their sense of fun and humor. In addition, they have been sparkplugs in for events and efforts such as the RC ET Highway. Wow! High 5! If I had diamonds I'd shower you in them (well, at least two or three). Attagirl, Scarlett!
