Geocache Description:

Very long and rough road. High clearance 4x4 is needed. Very exposed during lightening storms. I do not advise attempting drive if area has seen much rain as it is steep and muddy in some areas. Best route is the Relay Ridge Road that starts South of Green Canyon Hot Springs. This area is known by many of the locals as the "Light Towers"

We (my son and I) were unable to locate the Ryan's Peak cache (I believe it was taken as an ammo can in plain site is a prized possession by many) so we decided to make our own cache at the Northern set of Relay Towers and leave the option for the owner of the the Ryan's Peak cache to hide a new cache at that site or maybe it is still there somewhere and we were unable to find it. We hid this cache under a piece of concrete waste that at first appears to be a rock. It is off the edge a few feet on the steep slope to the East of the towers. The concrete chunk forms a small ledge and we placed the cache under it and placed several rocks in front to hide from sight. If unable to find then take a look at the picture of my son pointing to its location with one of the large towers in the back ground for a reference. Cache is in a tin can oatmeal container. Please leave the emergency items such as the foil blanket for emergency use only. We left an army guy to guard it and a deck of cards.
