YOU CAN NOT GET TO THIS CACHE BY THE DIRECT LIGHTHOUSE TRAIL ANY MORE. That trail has been long washed out by Hurrican Juan. You must take the path leading from the McNabs Earth cache. As weird as that sounds, it is literally the only way in. Don`t get yourself injured. The trek will be much longer than you wish, but is the only way you will make it. Trying the other route will cause you to retrace and do it the suggested way anyhow.
On my way to the lighthouse to place a cache, I realised there was room to place another cache along the way in between. However, I only had a cache container that was suitable for a tree. So, not wanting to lose an opportunity, I placed it anyhow. You will know what I mean when you see it. Cache is really cute, if somewhat inappropriate for the area. If I get back soon, I may just replace it, so enjoy while you can.
