*gln: ARCHIVING ABANDONED CACHE

Greetings madcorgi,

Looks like our timing is off and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't any maintenance here in a very long time, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Archiving due to lack of maintenance is permanent.
CACHE ARCHIVAL IS PERMANENT.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks a MILLION for all you have done, Glenn

Geocache Description:

Everytime I hear the name of this park, I can't help but think of pickles (think of a famous dill pickle brand).  Cache is located on the South side of Vlasis Park in Ballwin, MO.  Hours are 7am-11pm.  Parking is located next to a nearby pavilion. Permission granted for this cache by Ballwin Parks & Recreation.  Please respect the resources of the park and leave it looking nice and clean.  Watch for traffic during busy park events.

While this is just a little more than a park and grab, don't let this cache find be your only experience in this great park.  This park has the following for you to enjoy:  tennis courts, playground, walking paths, baseball field, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, fishing pond, and many picnic pavilions.  The biggest event by far in the park is Ballwin Days -- held every summer.

For more about this great park, take a look at the city page: Vlasis Park

Please bring your own pencil and be stealthy.
