Geocache Description:

A nice walk on another section of the East Bay Bike Path. Please bring your own writing utensil to sign the log.

Some things you just can't make up:

We were walking this section of the bike path with our dog, Rosie, on a nice night performing maintenance on the other caches we have around here. Upon getting close to this spot a cat with three legs hobbled out of the brush and began a stare down. Then s/he noticed Rosie, and instead of running like most cats would, our new friend went on the offensive. The hair on this cat's back went straight up, s/he began hissing loudly and made a hobble-dash at the dog. We pulled Rosie close and hurried ahead, leaving the three legged menace behind, still giving a stare down as we kept walking.

Not sure where the cat went upon returning but it was nowhere to be found. Decided to hide a cache close to the spot where this (in)famous attack took place as a small memorial for a very interesting experience. If you happen to see this lovable three-legged companion while out and about, please say so in your log!

You're looking for a black bison tube. As mentioned before you will need to BYOP and replace the cache as found so it is not visible from the path. Please don't leave it just sitting exposed in its hiding spot; try and find something to cover it with. Thanks!
