This is a cache hidden in a neighborhood park in the city of Elmira, NY. This is a continuation of the Secret Park series by a different owner.
This original series has introduced cachers to smaller neighborhood parks that still offer recreational fun to both children and adults. This is an extension of that concept.
This area of the park, however, is a memorial. This could be a P&G, assuming there aren’t too many muggles. Please take time to reflect on the sacrifices represented here.
You do not need to enter the memorial area to retrieve the cache. Please show reverence while searching for the cache. This includes only caching from sunrise to sunset.
The placement of this cache has the approval of the Vietnam Verterans of America, local Chapter 803, who has responsibility for the maintenance of this Memorial.
