The cache will take you to a marker whose location was determined by astronomer Charles Mason and surveyor Jeremiah Dixon. This was just one of many markers placed from the surveying job to settle the dispute between Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Look for other caches on the Mason-Dixon line. Such as: Mason-Dixon #211 (GC1Y0AB) or
Mason-Dixon #212 (GC1Y0BW) or Mason-Dixon Doin' the Line Dance(GC12GKC) or Three State Cache (GC1ADCQ).
We hope to place more caches on the Mason-Dixon Line as we locate the markers.
