За станцията:
Наземната космическа станция за сателитни връзки "Плана" е построена през 1976 г. край село Плана на надморска височина 1270 метра.
На 17 Август 1977 г. е излъчен първият пробен сигнал, а първото телевизионно предаване е на "Универсиада-77"
През годините станцията е сменила няколко собственика, като днес телепортът е собственост на телекомуникационната компания НУРТС
Станцията разполага с две антени с диаметър по 18.3 метра.
Всяка антена тежи по 70 тона.
Усилването на сигнала по мощност е близо 1 милион пъти (60 dB).
За последните 10 години тук не е имало нито едно прекъсване на връзката по радиопът.

About the station:
The terrestrial space station for satellite communications "Plana" was built in 1976 near the village of Plana at altitude 1270 m.
On August 17, 1977 was broadcasted the first test signal and the first TV show is "Universiade-77".
Over the years the station has changed several owners, and today The Teleport is owned by telecommunications company NURTS.
The station has two antennas having a diameter of 18.3 m.
Each antenna weighs 70 tons.
Amplification of the signal by power output is approximately 1 million times (60 dB).
For the past 10 years, there had been no single interruption of radio transmition.
