A GEO Meet & Eat followed by a workshop on TUESDAY August 12. Meet at Macleans (Posted) as early as 5:45 PM. Bringing along trackables to be moved/discovered is encouraged, but if you take them, please make sure they get logged properly and not left in the event!
The Workshop topic tonight will be: Maps/layers for your GPS (and maybe your phone). We rely on maps to find our way to and from geocaches, and we are literally lost without them! I will share my knowledge of map sources and how to load the maps, but there is a lot that I don't know! Others are welcome to jump in with their suggestions, or to show their favourite map source!
The workshop begins at 7:10 PM at SNC (Additional Waypoint) and goes until we reach a natural breaking point, usually a little after 9:00 PM.
