The Geocache is placed where the end of the Bullslinger tube race used to be. 2014 was their 37th year running with the average of 700 people participating. This event takes place in February each year and they have moved the finish closer to the start as the last 1.5 km was a killer if the wind was blowing from the sea side. The last 2km is basically a flat water race if there was no wind. I have done the race 9 times and 6 times as a team of six or more. We have won it twice as a 2 man team and a second place for a 3 man mixed team with Nad_Cro and her then boyfriend from Scotland. Needless to say that was the biggest jol of them all.
