Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the SRCP Series, taking you to all of the conservation projects funded through the Pike County Scenic Rural Character Preservation Program. Take time to enjoy the natural wonders and learn more about the Pike County Scenic Rural Character Preservation Program at

Print your SRCP Series Passport to receive a limited edition SRCP Geocoin when you find all nine (9) SRCP geocaches (while supplies last). First 25 geocoins are a special gold finish. Get your passport here

In 2012, the Beaver Run Hunting & Fishing Club made the landmark decision to protect their cherished natural resources with a conservation easement on 857 acres. Their gift to the community was the creation of three (3) trails that are available for public use. Please note, the entire property is not open for public enjoyment, so we ask that you not venture off the marked public use trails when visiting the area. To see more detailed public access areas on the Beaver Run property, visit Beaver Run

This geocache is located just outside of the private property on adjoining state forest lands. At GZ, you'll find an existing trailhead on the south, and DCNR has proposed a new connecting trail to the north that will connect to the Beaver Run public access trail at the northern most tip of the property.

As you are deep into nature out here, cell reception is spotty so be prepared for loss of cell reception.

FTF is a commemorative bicentennial coin honoring Pike County's heritage and history.
