Geocache Description:

So here we are , the final episode of this series (before the bonus of course) .

And what a journey it has been : started with A case of identity , The Adventure of the dancing men through The fife orange pips and His last bow finally arriving at this mystery : Hello John .

This time I’ll tell you how I first met John .

After a phone call from Inspector Lestrade I headed to Baker Street underground station  and took the first metro to Whitechapel . After a short walk and passing the Genesis cinema where the latest Anthony Hopkins movie seems to be on screen I arrived at the scene of a brutal murder .

Lestrade seemed rather busy but still found the time to introduce me to a rather strange but friendly looking person who was already part of the investigation team . “Hello , I’m John , and you are … ?”

I introduced myself to him after which he gave me a short briefing on what had happened here – a strange case with mutilated victims (I guess we’ll need a good psychological profile to find the killer) .

I didn’t take long to see all that had to be seen and I invited my new friend over to the Sherlock Holmes restaurant at Northumberland Street (an excellent idea if you ever visit London)where we both ordered Garlic Mushrooms for starters and the Ploughman’s Lunch as our main courses .

During our meal we had this real nice conversation and it seemed we had lots of things in common : we both like the same Liverpool striker , listen to the same music (Violin in the morning , Mogwai in the evening) , use a black book to make case notes but most of all : we origin from the same place .

Since we had such a nice evening we completely lost track of time and before we knew it the clock struck midnight .

Before saying goodbye John invited me to his favorite pub . The coordinates of this pub will give you a green light on the checker underneath .
