Welcome to a very unique Geotrail: The Gadgets of Winchester Frederick County (GWFC). This is the second Geotrail in the area.
This new and exciting trail consists of 9 “gadget” caches. What is a gadget cache you ask? A gadget cache is typically easy to find but the cacher will have to do “something” in order to access the log.
Each cache in this series is very different from one another. Most are easy while a few could prove to be challenging.
The Winchester-Frederick County area is home to some very fun and creative caches. There are over 100 caches in our area and counting. Our area has caches that are certain to please everyone: regular caches, creative caches, gadget caches, mystery caches, you get the idea.

The Cache
No Tools or force are required to open the cache! If you feel the urge use a tool read the hint or call the CO.
This cache is located along the Sherando Park Mountan Bike trail section B, follow section A to the end and cross over to B.
Please search only during the parks listed hours of operation: 8 a.m. til dusk.
Important!
Please be certain to say the pass phrase: "Hip, Hip, Hooray mein Freund" before opening the cache door.
We wil not be responsible for what happens if you do not.
