Geocache Description:

Our second cache at the Grant County Regional airport in John Day Oregon...a surprisingly vibrant airport with fuel, pilot cars and an AWESOME pilot lounge. Just make sure you are armed with the Bend airport CTAF when you try to open the door. 

Original Rabbit companion has hopped away so is replaced with a smaller companion. Cache is near the road, but the terrain is such that parking outside the airport fence and approaching from that way back to the road would would better. The terrain rating is based on that approach. A well camoed cache, that blends in well, but luckily there are not very many hiding places it can be here. Enjoy the natural camo and the views!.
