Geocache Description:

Questions are based on the date of the cache publications. The Hawks are just too darn good to continuously update this thing - so some math may be required to get final answers :)

Third in a series of Chicago sports themed caches for this transplant family.  Container is a micro - no room for swag, unfortunately.  BYOP!

Cache is not at this location (though hockey season does tend to last all 4 seasons now)

Cache is located at the following location - N 38 A.BCD, W077 1E.FGH

A is the year the Hawks won their first Stanley Cup - the first of five for this historic franchise.

B is total jerseys retired by the Blackhawks , including the great Tony Espisito.

C is the number (all are the same # - so X Art Rosses and X Lady Byngs not X+X) of Art Ross trophies (highest scorer), Norris trophies (best defensemen), and Lady Byng (sportsmanship) - that Blackhawks players have won.  Hockey has the coolest trophies by far...worth reading a bit about in your spare time...

D is the total number of times during the first 24 games of the 2012-2013 Stanley Cup winning season that the Blackhawks did not get at least a point (a point - not a goal), an NHL all-time record.

E is the retired jersey of Blackhawk and NHL all time great Bobby Hull.

F is the number of Calder trophies (rookie of the year) that Blackhawks players have won. Subtle hint, the win in 1936 by Mike Karakas was before this trophy was called the Calder, so it doesn't count.

G is the number of Stanley Cups that captain Jonathan Toews has won so (up to cache publication date)

H is the retired jersey of Blackhawk great and Top 100 NHL player of all time Pierre Pilote.  Oddly enough, its also the retired jersey of Keith Magnuson.
