I was on my way to grab one of the nearby caches when I happened upon this area. Now, I will confess I am not the biggest fan of micros in the woods, but I have been wanting to do this kind of a hide for a long time and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity.
The best parking is probably at the Prospect Mt Trailhead on Smith Street in Lake George Village. After you cross over the bridge and proceed along the trail, turn left at the power lines and head straight towards GZ. The terrain at GZ is pretty rugged, and not reccomended for the timid, very clumsy, or with really bad knees. There is a nice, pretty stream running by very close to GZ to spash some cool water on your face if you have managed to work up a sweat already.
I am posting a hint, but challenge yourself and see if you can find it without it. [:)]
