Geocache Description:

The cache is a small glass jar with a yellow screw lid.  It contains a log sheet only.  Bring your own pen or pencil.

Parking is available off the roadway but please don't block any driveways.

What you will be seeing here is a one-of-a-kind piece of heavy construction equipment. The story behind it:

"In 2002, J. R. Bradshaw Construction Co. received a contract for a large project in a remote area of the Smokey Mountains. Unfortunately, the roads into the area were narrow and winding and very steep meaning that an essential piece of equipment could not be trucked in. Needing this piece of heavy equipment, Mr. Bradshaw devised a solution and quickly got to work on it. When completed, the equipment was delivered to the remote site and the project was completed. After the project was completed the equipment was returned and placed in front of the J. R. Bradshaw office as a monument to creative genius."

Permission has been granted by the property owner for the placement of this cache.

Please, daytime caching only. Pets are discouraged but well behaved children are fine. There is no need to crawl under nor climb upon anything to retrieve the cache.  Also, please don't climb on the stone mound.
