O miejscu:
Jankowo - dawna wieś, obecnie część sołectwa Dębogóra na Pałukach, w powiecie nakielskim, w gminie Kcynia. Po wsi pozostały opuszczone zabudowania oraz ruiny domostw. Na terenie Jankowa znajduje się siedziba Leśnictwa Dębogóra (jedyny budynek zamieszkany). Według Słownika Geograficznego Królestwa Polskiego i innych Krajów Słowiańskich z XIXw. Jankowo składało się z 3 części: wsi właściwej, osady Dębogóra oraz młynu Dębogóra. W tym czasie liczyła 22 domostwa i 206 mieszkańców (126 ewangelików, 80 katolików; 33 mieszkańców było analfabetami). W pobliżu leśniczówki zachowały się resztki dawnego, nieczynnego cmentarza ewangelickiego. W 2013r. dzięki staraniom członków Stowarzyszenia "Razem dla Gminy Kcynia" we współpracy z uczniami szkół powiatu nakielskiego trwają prace porządkowe na terenie cmentarza - odkryto nagrobki, postawiono metalowy krzyż oraz kamień pamiątkowy z napisem: "Ocalić od zapomnienia... / Miejsce pochówku mieszkańców Jankowa wyznania ewangelickiego. / A.D. 2013"

Jankowo - ancient village, at present part of the rural administrative unit Dębogóra on Pałukach, in the district nakielskim, in the Kcynia commune. All over the village left buildings and ruins of homesteads stayed. On the area Jankowa is registered office of the forest administration region Dębogóra (only inhabited building). According to the Dictionary of the Geographical Congress Kingdom of Poland established in 1815 at the Congress of Vienna and other Slav Countries from XIXw. Jankowo consisted of 3 parts: appropriate village, settlement Dębogóra and młynu Dębogóra. At that time she counted 22 homesteads and 206 residents (126 evangelicals, 80 Catholics; 33 residents were illiterates). In the vicinity of the forester's lodge remains of the evangelical graveyard ancient, out of order behaved. In 2013r. thanks to efforts of members of the association "with Time for the Kcynia Commune" in cooperation with pupils of schools of the district nakielskiego a maintenance work lasts in the graveyard - gravestones were uncovered, a metal cross and a commemorative stone were put with the inscription: "to preserve for posterity... / ossuary of residents Jankowa of evangelical faith. / A.D. 2013"
