Geocache Description:

JAGA, in cooperation with the Altoona Public Library will be presenting their second 'Geocaching at the Library' presentation: "Joy of Puzzles".

This short presentation will be from 10am until 12n at the Altoona Public Library in the library theater, located on the ground floor. The theater is located near the stairs on the 'school side' or North side of the building.

"It's a mystery; the mystery caches that require one to do a little work ahead of time to uncover the actual cache coordinates are either much loved or much maligned." This short presentation will discuss some of the various types of puzzle caches out there and give advice on how to solve them. We hope that "it might help stir your thinking about them. Hopefully you'll be able to shift your mindset from "much maligned" to "much loved" or at least worth a look."

I will conclude the presentation with a 'puzzle scavenger hunt' to give attendees the opportunity to test out there new understanding and appreciation of various types of puzzles.

I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL THERE!

The material covered will be best understood by people familiar with geocaching and common geocaching concepts and terms; however, anyone interested in geocaching is encouraged to attend.
