Geocache Description:

Rock Lledge Park is privately owned park which is open to the public for hiking and mountain biking. The Curtis family welcomes all visitors with the hope that they enjoy their park. With more than 3 miles of marked and unmarked trails, one could spent a considerable amount of time exploring this gem on a park. Motorized vehicle are prohibited although there is evidence that they have and do access the trails. Most of the signage on the trails is for them and not hikers and can be ignored. There are four main trails in the park which are: Red, Yellow, White and Orange. The Red trail has some of the most interesting sights but deadends after intersecting the White trail. The Yellow trail offers the least strenuous route to the cache but is a bit longer but very scenic. There's even a picnic table along the way which overlooks Cummings Pond. The White and Orange trails seem meander a bit and can even run together at times. My best advise would be to make sure you set your GPS'r to leave a breadcrumb trail so you don't get to twisted up on the trails.

The park is open from dawn to dusk May 1 through December 1.

Parking is limited to either side of West Galway Road. Be sure to pull far enough off the pavement but don't take the chance of getting stuck in a ditch.

Enjoy!

Congrats to rocky-hill for the FTF
